Help us build a Home on the Homestead for Future Theraputic Farm Animals

We have an amazing collaboration with the Holley Central School District, specifically with their High School's Geometry in Construction Program - a Math Class with a focus on learning practical skills! In 2019, the Holley Students built us a 16x20 Gambrel Barn, for a construction work shop to be used for Homesteads Programs. Now, in 2021 - they have been gracious enough to come back and build yet another Barn - this time it will be for a future Petting Zoo to bring in more animals to the Farm to be enjoyed by our members, and expand our animal husbandry class within our programs.

The Official Build weekend for the School is set for May 14th, 2021 and Rain Day of May 21st. They will be erecting the structure onsite, utilizing the lumber that has already been donated from a 2020 donation.

We need your help to make the Barn complete before the School Year ends so the Students can come back to see it and celebrate there accomplishment.

We are seeking your support with donations or in-kind construction services to support the following:

  • 16 x 20' Monolithic Concrete Pad (320 SF - 6+ ton) Material & Labor: Estimated cost $3,500
  • Metal Siding & Roofing - Material & Labor: Estimated Cost $6,500
  • Additional Lumber for Purlins, Interior Walls & Pen Gates $1,500
  • Additional Materials to create exterior Pens with Gates $1,000

** Doors & Windows Donated from Brongo Supply, Seeking Volunteer or Contractor Installation
